  Resources for Instructors

In addition to consulting with individual students, we can also meet with you or visit with your whole class. We offer bookmarks, class visits, and student reports—and you can request any of these services from this Web site. The KU Writing Center offers several ways for you to encourage your students to work with a writing consultant. Think of us as a support for you and your students as you include more challenging writing assignments in your courses.
Online Requests

Schedule a Class Visit
Writing consultants are always available to visit your classes and demonstrate how a peer tutoring session works.

Request Writing Center Materials
We've created a fantastic informational DVD (preview) explaining our services. We also have colorful magnets, flyers, and bookmarks available upon request. Put in your request online and we'll have them delivered promptly.

Request a Student Report
If you want to know which of your students have worked with a writing consultant, we can generate a report for you. Remember that students must give us permission to disclose their information to instructors.

Support the WC
Most students visit the Writing Center because an instructor encouraged them to do so. Find out how you can encourage your students to work with us.
