APA Format References Page

This guide is intended as a quick reference to citing in a reference list some of the most common types of materials in the American Psychological Association publication format. For citations in the text, you should consult the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (BF 76.7 .P83 2001 Watson Reference Desk) directly. NOTE: Hanging indents (the second line is indented) are acceptable even though first-line indents are shown in the most recent edition of the manual. Check with your instructor to learn more about the citation style required for the course/discipline.
